Unless you’ve served as a pastor, you can’t completely understand the challenges of a full-time, pastoral vocation. An alarming number of pastors are on the verge of giving up and throwing in the towel. Still others may be thriving in their ministries but need help embracing a sustainable pace for the long haul. GWI comes alongside pastors and offers a grace-filled perspective with understanding, practical insights, and encouragement.
Our Executive Director is the primary contact and facilitator of these meetings. His desire is to help pastors weather the challenges that are part of pastoral ministry and see them come out on the other side more devoted to Christ and His work.
The Grace for Pastors ministry of GWI provides a significant way for us to help churches by influencing church leaders. What better way to communicate the wonder of God’s grace than by caring for the shepherds who lead and care for those in their churches.
Additionally, when pastors are sensing a desire to transition to another ministry or move away from their current role, GWI is available for succession consulting. Our Executive Director successfully implemented a detailed, multi-year succession plan as he stepped away from over 35 years of pastoral ministry. Lessons learned from that experience can help other pastors and churches navigate that important season of change. GWI is here to provide wisdom and a detailed plan if needed.
