As Simply as I Know How to Say It

I ’ll put this as simply as I know how to say it.
God loves you.
He sent His Son Jesus to bear your sin and satisfy the justice required for sin’s punishment. He died for you, because of you, instead of you, in your place.
And Jesus didn’t stay dead. He came back to life. He’s alive right now. He is in heaven and will one day return.
Now God offers you a gift—the gift of eternal life, the gift of living forever. It is a gift without cost to the recipient (after all that’s what a gift is). It is received by believing God for it. Jesus said:
“…I say to you, the one who believes in Me has everlasting life.” (John 6:47)
Eternal life is not just something you get when you die; eternal life begins the moment you believe Jesus for it.
Have you believed? It’s an uncomplicated question with so much at stake. Have you received the free gift of eternal life by believing that Jesus has died in your place?
